What is the actual output capability of DS-37W’s USB ports?
DS-37W has USB-A (QC 18W) and USB-C (PD 18W) interfaces, but its junction-box specification lists a
maximum output of 18W. Therefore, do not add 18W + 18W and claim 36W simultaneous delivery. It is a
37W-rated panel with an 18W-rated USB power-conversion stage; validate simultaneous-load
behaviour and supported charging profiles on the production sample.
-
Do the folding panels carry an established IP rating and warranty?
ETFE surfaces are specified, but no verified IP rating or continuous-rain exposure claim is stated in
these brochures. Do not represent them as fully waterproof; protect connectors and junction boxes from
water ingress. The datasheets specify a 1-year product warranty for DS-37W, DS-100W and DS-200W; the
full warranty terms and any Australian statutory obligations need to be addressed separately.
-
What distinguishes PT-B-13W from PT-B-30W beyond panel wattage?
Both are specified as 30 L backpacks, but their construction differs. PT-B-13W weighs 1.26 kg, uses 1680D
polyester/ABS with a 420D nylon lining and includes a TSA007-style lock. PT-B-30W weighs 1.6 kg, has
three storage compartments and uses a 1680D polyester exterior with a 320D polyester lining. The 30W
model has a dual-panel configuration, while a 15W single-panel variant is also shown.
-
Is the PT-B-30W backpack always a 30W version?
No. The sheet differentiates a 15W single-panel arrangement from a 30W dual-panel arrangement.
Quotes, samples, labels, product images and cartons should explicitly identify which assembly is being
purchased. A customer specifying “PT-B-30W” should not be sent a single-panel sample without
agreement.
-
What can be delivered through each backpack’s USB outputs?
PT-B-13W lists USB-A and USB-C at 5V/2A (10W per port rating). PT-B-30W lists USB-A QC3.0 up to 22.5W
and USB-C at 5V/3A (15W). These are interface ratings, not a promise that both ports can deliver their
individual maxima together under sunlight. Total simultaneous output, protocol profiles and low-light
restart performance require sample testing.
-
Can the backpacks charge devices after sunset?
No integrated energy-storage battery is specified in either backpack datasheet. Their solar panels
provide power when adequate light is available; an external power bank would be needed for
stored-energy use. If a buyer requests a built-in battery version, battery capacity, transport
classification, electrical tests, mass and price must all be re-evaluated.
-
Are the backpacks rainproof, theft-proof or airline-approved?
The fabrics and a TSA007 lock (13W model only) are specified, but water-ingress ratings, anti-theft test
performance and airline/security endorsements are not substantiated. Avoid “waterproof”, “theft-proof”
or “airline-approved” claims without documented evidence. For channel listings, agree a precise
claims-and-test matrix first.
